Chris and Budweiser are joining forces to donate up to $1 million in educational support to the spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members through Folds of Honor.
This year’s Fourth of July celebration at North Carolina’s Fort Bragg will culminate in a performance from Chris in front of 40,000 service members, their families and members of the Fort Bragg community. Budweiser and Chris will present a donation to Folds of Honor, the amount of which will be determined by America itself. Budweiser’s donation will come from a portion of the total nationwide sales of America cans and bottles in the week leading up to Fourth of July (6/27-7/4) — up to $1 million.
In addition to Chris Stapleton, Fort Bragg’s Fourth of July celebration will include performances from Cheap Trick, Natalie Stovall and The Drive. The day before, on July 3, Fort Bragg will host the first-ever Major League Baseball game to be played on a military base. The Miami Marlins will go head-to-head with the Atlanta Braves, bringing one of America’s favorite pastimes to the service members of Fort Bragg just in time for Independence Day.
